The "11th Tour of the Fireflies" themed with "Bike Today! Bike to Work, Bike to School, Bike to Play!" Local theme is "Simple Lang Save the Climate: Go Bike!"

**Bacolod**
The province of Negros Occidental thru the Provincial Environment Management Office in coordination with SolarGeneration Pilipinas, Green Renewable Independent Power Producers Inc. and West Negros University will spearhead activities in relation to the Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2009. The activities is also coordinated with the Panaad Celebration of the province which will be held on April 18-25.

The synchronized bike ride to raise awareness on Climate Change and Renewable Energy Revolution will happened 6am in the morning of April 19 at the front of the Provincial Capitol traversing major streets of Bacolod and end at the Panaad Nursery. Its a national event for the earth day that bikers advocate for the firefly as indicator of a healthy and diverse environment. It's basically encouraging people to bike short distance trips or start bike for commuting for health and climate.

**Iloilo**
SolarGeneration in Iloilo with its partners I-STAND, SM City, The CPU-mountaineering society (CPUMS), UPV-mountaineering (UPVM), USA-mountaineering society (USAMS), CPU-environmental society (CPU-ES), WVCST Environmental Club, WVSU Eco-Guild will spearhead the fun ride.

Start in Jaro Plaza go around the city of iloilo til plaza libertad and will end up in SM city. there will be a short program.

We are inviting everybody to join and take part in saving the planet by doing simple steps.

bert ang sa mga schools bla. basi mga next year ko pa ni ma sure k ang sa student gov't sa LCC ma lain naman so mas nami kung sa recent oficers ko ma propose tapos ang sa Don bosco and st. mary naman amu man gyapon k ang ila mga director kg directres basi mga lain na k my mga re-asignments na sila daan. dw shuffle2x. pero i'll work it out sa Don Bosco k ka lakat man ko to.

maaaaahhhnong albert! gn open ko na ang solargen sa gov sang student council namun kag next nga meeting e hambln ko ang council..... mas mayo pagd ma meet ko ang hambl mo nga upod ta nga taga LCC man para ma open pagd namun sa Supreme Student Gov't para whole college maka take action.
